Good Morning and Happy First Full Day of Fall! The new season began yesterday at 7:43am on the autumnal equinox and its going to be as good of fall day as it could be with sunshine and seasonal temperatures! An area of high pressure is parked right over the Badger State and that will help keep things pretty quiet for us. You will need a sweatshirt to start today with temperatures in the 40s and 50s out the door in the morning, but will warm into the middle and upper 60s for the afternoon. Overnight, increasing clouds with temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s. This high pressure system will help keep a storm system currently located to our South away from us, but as it makes it's way through the Ohio River Valley and into the central Great Lakes, it will send our way some cloud coverage and a small chance of a shower. Most should stay dry with high temperatures around 70. Skies will clear out overnight, have to watch for some areas of fog. After that, high pressure regains control and it remains that way all week long bringing mostly sunny skies Wednesday through Friday. Highs could push 80 degrees on Thursday and Friday. We stay dry until Sunday, where a potential tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico could bring some moisture to our area, but at this time the rain coverage looks low. Something to monitor with the home Packers game.
