WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - A man is dead after a shooting in north Wichita Sunday evening. According to the Wichita Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of N. Inwood St. to an apartment complex regarding a shooting just before 5:45 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located a 38-year-old man with a fatal gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The suspect is in custody after turning themselves in. The investigation is ongoing. "Unfortunately, it was a very active weekend, and there has been two losses of life, you know, which is way too many for the city," said WPD Public Information Officer Kris Gupilan.
