LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Fayette County Coroner is investigating a body that was found Sunday afternoon.
According to police, officers and the coroner were called to Walden Drive near City National Bank around 3:40 p.m.
Upon arrival, they located a body in a ‘shallow body of water’.
The fire department was called around 4:30 p.m., to help remove the body.
The body was removed and taken by the coroner.
A cause of death has not yet been determined. The identity of the body has not yet been released.
