BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — One person was seriously injured in Nelson County after the SUV they were driving veered into oncoming traffic. The crash happened Friday afternoon about two miles north of Tolna. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a Chevrolet Suburban drove across the center line and into oncoming traffic. After the crash, the suburban came to a rest in a ditch. The driver, who suffered serious injuries in the crash, was taken to a hospital in Devils Lake. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
