MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) --- The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) said a shooting between two groups left a 17-year-old injured in Montgomery Village on Saturday. At about 5:40 p.m., police were dispatched to South Valley Park in the 19000 block of Watkins Mill Road for the report of a shooting. Police then learned that a shooting took place between two groups of people. MCPD: Police officer fatal shoots armed man in Silver Spring A 17-year-old boy was hit by a bullet and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Bullets also struck vehicles. The investigation is ongoing. No suspect is in custody at this time, and police believe it is an isolated incident.
