FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Two suspects are sought after attacking a man who was arguing with a woman in Tower District Sunday morning, the Fresno Police Department announced. Police say around 9 a.m. they responded to Van Ness and Alhambra Avenues in the Tower District for a report of a stabbing victim. Investigators determined a man was involved in an argument with a woman which brought the attention of two men who approached them. Detectives say the two suspects confronted the man about arguing with the woman which escalated into an argument between the men. A physical fight ensued where one of the two suspects used a pocket knife to slash the victim multiple times. Officers say the man sustained lacerations to both of his arms and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police say the two suspects fled the scene and the man and woman are cooperating with the investigation.
