AURORA, Colo. Police in Aurora are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed a pedestrian and led to the arrest of a suspected drunk driver Sunday morning.It happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of S. Parker Road and S. Peoria Street, near RTDs Nine Mile Station.Police said a 24-year-old male driver of an Infiniti SUV was speeding southbound on S. Parker Road when he lost control, crashed into another vehicle, and struck and killed a man walking in the area.Police said the Infinity also downed a light pole and two trees before coming to a rest in the intersection.The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity has not been released. The occupants in both vehicles were uninjured.The 24-year-old Infiniti driver, identified as Jose Perez, was arrested on charges of vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, and reckless driving, according to the Aurora Police Department.Police closed southbound S. Parker Road in the area for several hours during the crash investigation. It reopened around 4 p.m.
