(KRON) – Two men were arrested after more than $3,000 worth of merchandise was stolen in a Marshall sting, according to the Colma Police Department.  At 3:57 p.m. on Sept. 12, Colma police officers were dispatched to a Marshalls store in the 280 Metro Center for the report of a theft that occurred that day almost two hours before.  Police were informed that two men stole multiple items and fled the store. The witnesses were unsure of the transportation the suspects took to flee the store.  Image provided the Colma Police Department Stolen identifications, meth found in car illegally parked in disabled parking The store did not call the police initially, however, the same two suspects burglarized another Marshalls in San Bruno. The employees at the San Bruno location alerted authorities of the robbery. The San Bruno Police Department detained the duo.  The suspects were identified as 24-year-old San Jose resident Juan Osvaldoramirez and 21-year-old Santa Clara resident Angel Penaloza.  Colma PD arrested the two after employees at the Colma Marshalls identified the suspects.  Police determined the suspects stole approximately $3,766.21 worth of merchandise. Osvaldoramirez and Penaloza were both booked into the San Mateo County Jail for suspicion of grand theft and felony conspiracy to commit a crime.
