PILOT, Va. (WFXR) -- Several fire crews rescued a cat from a well in the Pilot area of Montgomery County Saturday. Floyd County Volunteer Fire shared pictures of the cat, named Lamont, and the rescue mission down a 21-foot well. Crews think the cat was down there for up to a day.
