(PALMER LAKE, Colo.) — The Palmer Lake Firefighters Association reported that its crew, along with the El Paso County Search and Rescue Team, conducted a high-angle rescue of two 14-year-old boys at the Palmer Lake Reservoir Trail near Balanced Rock on Saturday, Sept. 21. AMR was on scene for 5 1/2 hours to provide medical assistance. Around 7 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, the Palmer Lake Firefighters Association reported the boys were safely reunited with their mothers.
