LSU Police investigate attempted robbery on campus Saturday night

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Louisiana State University Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery that happened on campus.
Police said in a social media post that a suspect tried to steal a bag carried by the victim shortly after 8 p.m. on Sept. 21 between the Tiger Sports Shop and the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
No injuries were reported. The suspect was not able to take the bag and fled the scene, university police said.
