Seven people were shot, one fatally, at a prayer vigil in Little Village on Saturday night, police said.The people were gathered for a vigil on the front lawn of a home in the 2500 block of South Spaulding Avenue when someone got out of a Jeep and fired shots into the crowd shortly after 10 p.m., police said.Froylan Garcia, 32, was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital, police and the Cook County medical examiner's office said.
