SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - On Saturday, the Nine Line Foundation hosted their Run for the Wounded 5k event as part of their 2024 Annual Heroes Weekend. Funds raised from the weekend events will go towards Veteran's Villages in Brunswick and Savannah aimed at helping homeless veterans get back on their feet. Fund's will also go towards an Aquaponics Training Center. The Nine Line Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, dedicated to meeting the financial and specialized needs of severely injured soldiers and their families.
