NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A crash and a nearby vehicle fire are causing delays in both directions of Interstate 64 in New Kent County. The crash was first reported shortly after 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, and is located on I-64 East near Eltham Road. According to VDOT, all eastbound lanes are closed and there are 1.5 miles of delays. Shortly after the crash was reported, just before 1 p.m., a vehicle fire was reported on I-64 West near the Courthouse Road exit about a mile away.
