BARRINGTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Barrington police said they have found "human skeletal remains" after they were contacted by a contractor doing work at a Joe site. On Thursday, the contractor, who is not being identified, told police they found what was believed to be possible human bones while working at a property on Elm Lane. The Rhode Island Medical Examiner`s Office found that the remains were human. Investigators said the remains were not from a recent event. Police said the incident is still under investigation.
