Alligator Festival to return to Luling for 43rd year

LULING, La. (WGNO) — Alligator Festival is returning to Luling for a 43rd year.
Alligator enthusiasts can make their way to the West Bank Bridge Park starting on Sept. 26 for four days of music, food and alligators.
Crews respond to building collapse in Central City
According to a news release, festivalgoers can expect live alligator exhibits, Cajun cuisine, carnival attractions and about 100 vendors "selling unique and handmade items."
In addition to the food and live exhibits, festival organizers said attendees can also look forward to live music performances from Thomas Cain, the Chee Weez, Bag of Donuts and more.
The fest is hosted by the Rotary Club of St. Charles Parish, and organizers said the proceeds will go toward scholarships for graduating seniors at Destrehan High School and Hahnville High School.
GalaxyCon to make New Orleans debut in 2025
Alligator Festival is set to take place from Thursday, Sept. 26, through Sunday, Sept. 29. Organizers said admission for adults is $5 and admission for children under 10 is free.
