HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — It's fall y'all! If you are in need of some updated Fall decor, good home cooking, and the sweet sound of local Louisiana musicians, head on over to the Houma Hero Fest. Admission is free! Houma Hero Fest is a special event dedicated to supporting the first responders of Terrebonne Parish.  One more day remains to catch the live music, food, rides and craft show, something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Alligator Festival to return to Luling for 43rd year On the music menu: Sunday, Sept. 22: Enjoy music from Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition, along with Junior Lacrosse. On the food menu: Vendors this weekend are selling a variety of boudin balls, shrimp spaghetti, fish tacos, churros, blackberry dumplings and cotton candy... just to name a few. Meteorologist Carrigan Chauvin took advantage of the trip back to her old stomping grounds to visit with family while also joining in on the festival activities. Old friends met new friends as weekday morning anchor Amy Russo was also on board for the road trip to Terrebonne Parish. Then, after a hot afternoon, the crowd packed in on Saturday evening as Rodney Atkins headlined!
