UPDATE: All lanes of traffic along I-10 West at Redd have reopened after being closed for at least seven hours after an overnight crash, TxDOT said. EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Four people were injured in an early morning crash on Sunday, Sept. 22 along Interstate 10 in West El Paso that has shut down part of the highway. Police said the crash happened at I-10 West at Redd and involved serious injuries. Police sent out a notification to media about the crash at about 3 a.m. but did not say exactly when the incident happened. Fire dispatch said four people were transported in the incident but did not say how badly hurt they were. Dispatch said the incident may have involved more than one crash. The Police Department's Special Traffic Investigations Unit, which looks into crashes involving serious or fatal injuries, is looking into the incident and what led up to it. The Texas Department of Transportation says that I-10 West is closed after Mesa and all traffic must exit at the Mesa Exit No. 11. Clearing time is until further notice.
