Hello Park City! If you’d like to know the important scoop on the Park City High School girls volleyball team, please come see them in action on court.  This program is comprised of over 50 smart, powerful, talented and dedicated student athletes who play this sport with passion and drive. The varsity team, in particular, is well on their way to achieving their goal of a state championship this season.  Earlier this month, they competed in the Utah Valley Invitational and earned sixth place among 33 of the top 4A/5A/6A teams in the state. They are currently undefeated within Region 10 and on Sept. 12, they beat Orem — the defending 4A state champions and No. 2 ranked team in the state — in a thrilling five-set match.Unfortunately, the volleyball program’s success is being overshadowed in the press by circumstances beyond their control. Not a single photograph or article about their on-court performance has been published.
