Albemarle police searching for missing 72yearold woman with dementia

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Albemarle County Police Department is searching for a 72-year-old missing woman who reportedly has a history of dementia.

Charters Wilson was last seen in the area of Timberbranch Court around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, according to police. She was reportedly wearing a white and blue striped shirt and blue jeans while walking her tan-colored dog.
Wilson is reportedly 5-foot 5-inches tall with brown and gray hair. According to police, she has a history of dementia.
As of around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, officers were continuing to search for Wilson with flashlights and K-9 units.
