MICHIGAN TOWNSHIP, Ind. - Police are investigating after one person was killed in a two-car crash in Clinton County Saturday night. According to the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened just after 9 p.m. Saturday night near the intersection of US-421 and County Road 150 South. Investigators say 2001 Chevy Silverado truck was traveling eastbound on County Road 150 South when it disregarded the stop sign at the intersection. The truck struck a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was traveling southbound on US-421 before the crash took place. The driver and passenger traveling in the Jeep Cherokee were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Chevy Silverado was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police. Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in a crash. Names of the individuals involved are being withheld, pending notification. The incident remains under investigation.
