ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Saturday, Kodak Hall in Rochester was filled with classically trained musicians - a delightful symphony of sounds and thought-provoking pieces officially kickstarted the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra's historic 2024-25 season. Tchairkovsky's Fifth marked the beginning of RPO's 101st season. Saturday's program, led by music director Andreas Delfs, also featured Grammy and Emmy-winning special guest 'Time for Three,' with Nick Kendall, Ranaan Meyer and Charles Yang. Sunday, there will be another performance. Tickets are still available for purchase. RPO officials said it will be the first Philharmonics-series concert to ever be performed in Kodak Hall for a Sunday matinee.
