(BCN) -- A 32-year-old Vallejo man was arrested on Friday for allegedly shooting and killing a man in July, police said. VTA employee fatally shot in San Jose facility Patrick Lamont Thompson is accused of shooting a man on July 24 near the intersection of Sonoma Boulevard and Louisiana Street, according to the Vallejo Police Department.  The victim was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound and died at the scene after medical aid was unsuccessful, police said in a Saturday press release.  Thompson was identified as a suspect and was arrested without incident on Friday at the corner of Sonoma Boulevard and Ohio Street.  He was booked into Solano County Jail, police said.
