APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - The City of Appleton in a collaborative effort with multiple non-profits and businesses, celebrated international music and dance routines with the return of Rhythms of the World. The event ran from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Houdini Plaza with free admission to all who attended the cultural celebration. Green Bay’s Big Event for Kids becomes free to attend for families 35 years after inaugural community tradition Families across the Fox Cities area were able to dance along to and listen to live music, check out cultural displays and participate in activities that celebrated countless cultures across the world. In addition to those festivities, an additional event followed from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., the Discover Diversity Free Night. The events coincide in a celebration and exploration of culture across the world educationally. For more information, visit the Fox Cities website.
