EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Celebrate the changing of seasons at the City of Socorro's 2024 Harvest Festival. The free and family-friendly event takes place from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at 901 N. Rio Vista Rd. According to the City of Socorro's Facebook page, road closures will be before Alison and Rio Vista and before Parker and Rio Vista during the festival. The event highlights live performances by DJ Johnny Kage and the Pie Sisters, along with over 20 vendors, food and beverages, salsa and jalapeno eating contests, a free kids corner and giveaways. In addition, the Dusty Tap will be providing alcohol for purchase at the event for individuals 21 and older with a valid I.D., according to the news release by the City of Socorro.
