FARGO, ND (KXNET) — The Fargo Police Department (FPD) is investigating a fatal shooting that took place on the morning of Saturday, September 21. According to a Facebook post from the FPD, at approximately 1:15 a.m., gunshots were fired outside a residence in the 1300 block of 8th Avenue North. Upon arriving at the scene, they found an adult male victim who had been shot. The man was then pronounced deceased. North Dakota Crime Tracker 2024 The suspected shooter, who resided at the residence in question, admitted to the crime, and was taken into custody without incident. Officers also located a weapon at the scene, which is believed to have been used in the shooting. Currently, the FPD has secured the area and is actively investigating the case.
