ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- UPDATED: Ector County Sheriff Mike Griffis said the six-year-old boy missing since Friday night has been found safe. This came after investigators spent several hours searching in Gardendale on Saturday. No other details were immediately available. We will update this story as soon as we are able. The search for a missing Odessa boy continued Saturday as investigators with the Ector County Sheriff's Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and others searched an area in Gardendale for signs of the child. According to witnesses at the scene, a tow truck carried a Cadillac, resembling the one connected with a statewide Amber Alert, away from the search area for processing. Sheriff Mike Griffis confirmed the teams were searching in the area for the child and also said the child has not yet been located. There's no word yet on whether the kidnapping suspect has been found, but we will continue providing updates as more information becomes available. The Ector County Sheriff's Office has issued an Amber Alert for a six-year-old boy last seen Friday.  Maxamillius Aiden Dominguez was last seen around 8:36 p.m. on September 20 in the 4800 block of W 39th Street wearing a teal blue Toy Story shirt, blue jeans, and black Crocs. Investigators are also looking for his alleged abductor, 42-year-old Jose Magdaleno Dominguez. Dominguez has been described as last wearing a tan cap, tan shirt, and tan shorts.  Jail records show that Dominguez has a lengthy arrest record on charges such as assault, drug possession, escaping custody, evading arrest, among other charges. His last arrest was in August of 2024 when he was arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety for failing to appear in court on traffic related charges and drug possession. He was released from custody on August 15 on a combined $28,000 bond. ECSO said the child and suspect were last seen in a blue 2009 Cadillac CTS bearing Texas license plate GWX-3047. ECSO said the vehicle has a sunroof. Investigators believe the child to be in grave or immediate danger.  Anyone with information has been asked to call ECSO at 432-335-3050.
