Central Ohio Weather and Radar Fall officially arrives Sunday morning at 8:44 a.m. (autumnal equinox), but summer will hang on this weekend, before a significant cool-down comes with welcome showers. Temperatures soared to 93 degrees Saturday afternoon under mostly sunny skies, 15 degrees above normal. Skies will be clear tonight, with morning lows dipping into the upper 50s with drier air and a light northerly flow. Clouds will slowly increase Sunday afternoon, but temperatures will still approach 90. A few showers will develop in the western part of the state later in the day, but the best chance for showers reaching portions of central Ohio will come overnight with a cold front. Monday will feel cooler behind the front, along with lingering cloud cover. A storm system in the southern Plains will lift northeastward to the Ohio River on Tuesday, bringing a better chance of more widespread showers and a possible storm. Behind this system, seasonably cool and drier air will flow into the state beginning on Wednesday. Forecast Tonight: Mainly clear, less humid. Low Sunday: Partly sunny, warm, shower west late. High 90 Monday: Early showers, some sunshine. High 80 (68) Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, showers, storms. High 79 (65) Wednesday: Early showers, some sun, breezy. High 77 (62) Thursday: Partly sunny. High 80 (58) Friday: Partly sunny. High 79 (57)
