FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said a woman was hit by a car in Oakton on Saturday morning. Police said that they were at the scene of a crash involving a pedestrian at Hunter Mill Road and Lynnhaven Place. Police investigating fatal shooting in Prince George’s County The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The striking vehicle stayed at the scene. As of 10:32 a.m., a lane of northbound Hunter Mill Road is closed while police investigate the incident.
