SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- An investigation is underway after a man was struck and killed by a North County Transit District COASTER train Friday night, authorities said. According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, the collision occurred around 10:25 p.m. near the 2600 block of Moreno Boulevard in the city of San Diego. 5 things to do in San Diego this weekend Local police officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found the victim. He did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead. The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office will identify the man, as well as determine the cause and manner of his death. The Sheriff's Transit Enforcement Unit, which investigates incidents along the routes of the North County Transit District, was called to the scene to look into the matter.
