MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man was arrested on Friday after Memphis Police say he shot a woman twice while she tried to break up a fight his girlfriend was involved in. On September 13 at 1:25 p.m., Memphis Police responded to a shooting in the 4600 block of Knight Arnold Road. MPD: Intoxicated man stabs boyfriend in his arm A female victim told officers that a group of people followed her and her daughter to B&B Beauty Supply on Knight Arnold. She said one of the girls was angry at her daughter for having contact with the girl's boyfriend Antonio Thomas. Antonio Thomas. (SCSO) The victim's daughter and the girl began to fight in the parking lot. The victim said she tried to break up the fight but Thomas allegedly shot her once in the stomach and once in the left foot. After shots were fired, the crowd dispersed and the victim was taken to the hospital. Downtowners duck for cover as shots fired on Front Street On September 17, investigators interviewed the victim and showed her a photo lineup. She identified Antonio Thomas as the person who shot her. Thomas was arrested on Friday and charged with attempted second-degree murder and employing a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
