NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — New Bedford and Massachusetts State Police are investigating a homicide that happened Friday evening. Police were called to 86 Atlantic St. just before 5 p.m. and arrived to find a 31-year-old New Bedford woman suffering from stab wounds inside the home, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office. The victim was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. No word at this time on any suspects or arrests. The DA's office said there's no threat to the public.
