MINOT, ND (KXNET) — GlobalND has welcomed 11 Iraqi oil and gas officials to Minot to talk about reducing emissions from oil and gas.
They came to Minot under the auspices of the International Visitor Leadership Program of the U.S. State Department, and are scheduled to stay from Sept. 20-25.
GlobalND, formerly called the Minot Area Council for International Visitors, is a non-profit focused on global diplomacy. The organization arranged appointments for the Iraqi officials with groups like the Oil and Gas Division of the North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources, and the Native Green Grow project of the MHA (Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara) nation.
