MANASSAS PARK, Va. (DC News Now) -- The husband who is accused of killing and hiding his wife's missing body in Manassas Park was denied bond for a second time in court Friday. Naresh Bhatt appeared in court to ask to be released from jail on bond for a second time to which he was denied. Community gathers for prayer and reflection in honor of Mamta Kafle Bhatt, missing Manassas mother Bhatt has been arrested and charged with concealing a dead body after his wife, Mamta Kafle Bhatt, went missing in late July. Supporters of Kafle Bhatt held a rally for her after he was denied bond again. They said prosecutors are accusing Bhatt of killing her and then dismembering her body, putting it in bags and disposing of it in dumpsters and trash compactors around Northern Virginia. "Mr. Bhatt is right where he needs to be which is locked up, not only for our safety but his." Wirth said evidence in court showed that Bhatt intentionally did things to cover his tracks, lied about his timeline and made Google searches about how to cover up murder. "The truth is, we're not going to get her back because he disposed of her in a way that put her in a landfill," Wirth said. During the rally, supporters called on prosecutors to charge Bhatt with aggravated murder and to make sure he be kept away from his daughter. Manassas Park police execute more search warrants at home of missing mother Mamta Kafle Bhatt Sammy Chaudhary was watching in court and said Bhatt seemed "happy" and didn't seem to have "any regrets." "It's painful for all the community and everybody," she said. "I think he needs to be in prison for the rest of his life." As of Friday, her body has not been found. Bhatt's trial has been set for Dec. 9.
