No ‘admission of liability’ in $12M Daniel Prude settlement A State taskforce has since been created in his name to support trauma-informed responses to mental health crisis. A gathering was scheduled to be held Friday night at Samuel Mcree Way and Jefferson Avenue in Rochester, where the incident took place March 2020. Friday, Rochester City Council members Mary Lupien, Stanley Martin and Kim Smith issued a proclamation declaring Sept. 20, 2024 "Daniel's Day."
