ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — You are invited to go "Walking on Sunshine" Sunday morning at Veterans Memorial Park in Penfield. The 16th annual edition of this wonderful event will support the Mary Cariola Center. It is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. When you sign up for the walk, you will raise important funds that benefit the nearly 450 students and 44 residents with complex disabilities the group serves. The event begins at 10 a.m. Sunday morning. Participants are encouraged to show up early if they are registering on-site. News 8's Brennan Somers will be there as an emcee for the walk. Guests are encouraged to bring the kids as there are plenty of activities.
