(KRON) -- The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatality involving a train and a pedestrian Friday morning, according to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.  The crash occurred at Mary Avenue near Evelyn Avenue, officials announced at 7:45 a.m. The department said Mary Avenue will be closed for several hours with no estimate for reopening.  Santa Clara police investigate fatal car crash, road closures   Authorities ask drivers to take alternative routes.  Stay tuned with KRON4 for updates.
