Mercy Flight forced to make hard landing that damages helicopter

Canandaigua, N.Y. — Three people were on a Mercy Flight Central helicopter when it had to make a hard landing Thursday evening in Ontario County, deputies said.Emergency services responded to the call for a downed helicopter at 2420 Brickyard Road near Canandaigua Airport around 8 p.m., according to the Ontario County Sheriff Office.
