RED RIVER, N.M. (KRQE) – The Red River Hatchery Fishing Pond is now open and ready for anglers. Due to a compromised water supply pipeline that was installed in the 1940s, the pond could not maintain water levels and quality which provided an unsuitable fish habitat. Los Alamos Golf Course reopens this weekend Now, crews have a new line installed. The pond has been stocked with rainbow Trout.
