Richmond City Council chief of staff LaTesha Holmes resigns

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- After working for about a year and eight months as Richmond City Council's chief of staff, LaTesha S. Holmes has resigned, according to an announcement.
The announcement said Holmes' resignation was effective on Tuesday, Sept. 17, and was voluntary.
She was appointed as the council's chief of staff on Jan. 9, 2023, and began serving in the position on Jan. 17.
