RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is injured after police say she was shot in Richmond in the early hours of Friday.
At 8:25 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to a local hospital for the report of a woman with a gunshot wound who had been driven to the hospital by another person.
Police said her injuries are non-life-threatening.
Detectives have determined that the shooting occurred around midnight on Friday in the 1100 block of South Meadow Street near Maymont in Richmond.
