OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - After closing in February, a beloved Oshkosh pizza joint is back in business and opened to the public, with festivities planned for Saturday to continue the celebratory return. ZaRoni's Pizza closed down because its former owner and current Winnebago County executive Jon Doemel wanted to focus on his career in public service. But employees at the pizza shop raised money to try and reopen the restaurant. "A lot of crew that left when we closed found different jobs in Oshkosh, as soon as we got the official 'OK' that the store was going to open back up, they came back," general manager Dee Drexler said. "We've got a lot of our old crew back and a lot of great new people too."
