APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - While the Fox Cities Marathon doesn't kick off until Sunday, the festivities for Race Weekend are already underway, with an adorable start on Friday. The Huggies Diaper Dash served as a kick-off for the weekend in-store. It's the first of numerous races set for the weekend, with a Mascot Race coming on Friday night as well. Oshkosh North and West host homecoming kickball game for special needs students in Adaptive PE The Diaper Dash runs from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., with the Mascot Race coming up at 6:15 p.m. The events are all being held at the Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton. The schedule of events is vast throughout the weekend, all culminating with the marathon on Sunday at 7 a.m. Here are the race events, according to the Fox Cities Marathon website: Friday: Huggies Diaper Dash: 4-6 p.m. Huggies Toddler Trot: 5-5:30 p.m. Mini Dash (age 6 and under): 5:45-6:45 p.m. Mascot Race: 6:15-6:30 p.m. 1/4 Mile Races: 6:30-7 p.m. 1/2 Mile Races: 7-7:30 p.m. Saturday: Scheels 10K Run/Walk and Ascension 5K Run/Walk - Riverside Park Start time: 9 a.m. Sunday: Wheelchair & Hand Crank: 6:55 a.m. Marathon and Half-Marathon (Open Div), Relay: 7 a.m. Half Marathon (Competitive Walk Div): 7:05 a.m. The Marathon starts at UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities, finishing up at Riverside Park in Neenah. "It's a big family activity that everybody can participate," Director Julie Johnson said.
