RAIN! A warm front finally brought some rain to parts of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio this afternoon! Rain can be seen falling from our Dry Dock Marine Center Lake James camera Friday afternoon. Watch out for showers and storms to delay some of the Friday night high school football games across the area. The good news though is we do not expect too many complete game postponements, as rain chances decrease quickly as the evening goes on. Storm chances continue for the Friday night football games.We're dry by midnight Friday night. By midnight, we'll be dry. Temperatures will drop down into the lower 60s tonight and we expect areas of fog to develop, especially in locations that experience rain today. Fog is likely to develop early Saturday morning. We're back to hot and dry conditions on Saturday, which will be good news for the Johnny Appleseed Festival! Once the morning fog lifts, we'll see quite a bit of sunshine. High temperatures will climb into the upper 80s. Fog persists into Saturday morning.Fog lifts by around lunchtime Saturday.We then see a lot of sunshine, with highs reaching the upper 80s. We finally have chances for more substantial rainfall coming on Sunday, as a weather system looks to move through the area. Look for showers and a few thunderstorms to develop as the day goes on. High temperatures will reach as high as the lower 80s to conclude the weekend. A few showers could linger into Monday before more rain tracks through on Tuesday from another area of low pressure. This is great news for the drought conditions in place! High temperatures will cool back into the 70s on both days. Drought has worsened this week.Better rain chances are in store though for the upcoming week!
