The purpose of the Walk to End Alzheimer's is to provide awareness, resources, and the need for a cure.
"We hope by raising some money and awareness that the focus for a cure will still be just right out there close to us," said Barney.
The Walk to End Alzheimer's is Saturday at 10 a.m. at Oak Park in Minot and registration is at 9 a.m. The walk is free for everyone.
