LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Two individuals were taken to a local hospital after a collision late Thursday night at the intersection of Winchester Road and Fortune Drive in Lexington. Police reported that the incident occurred around 11 p.m. when one car rear-ended another. Both individuals involved were taken to the hospital but are expected to make full recoveries. The collision caused significant traffic delays, shutting down several lanes on Winchester Road for hours.
