KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A motorcyclist is fighting for their life after a crash Thursday night in Kansas City. Kansas City police said a motorcyclist was taking the exit ramp from northbound 169 Highway to eastbound 152 Highway at a very high rate of speed when they tried to pass a Ford Fusion on the exit ramp. The impact caused the motorcycle to tumble, ejecting the operator totally off the motorcycle, according to police. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Ford was not injured. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
