EDEN, N.C. (WGHP) — An Eden man is facing a pair of felony charges after being accused of sex crimes involving a child. On Thursday, the Eden Police Department got a report of a sexual assault involving a prepubescent child. 7-year-old airlifted after being shot in Burlington As a result of the investigation, Peyton Alexander Ladd, 26, of Eden, was charged with first-degree statutory sexual offense and indecent liberties with a child. Peyton Alexander Ladd (Eden Police Department) Ladd is being without bond and will appear in court on Oct. 7. The investigation is still ongoing.
