FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting on Fort Wayne's south side that left a teenager in life-threatening condition. According to Allen County Dispatch, the shooting happened around 10:45 Thursday night near Oliver Street and Rudisill Boulevard. One person has life-threatening injuries, and FWPD later revealed it was a 17-year-old boy. FWPD said the initial 911 call reported that someone had been shot or grazed and they were on the way to a hospital. Police found evidence to determine the shooting happened in the 4000 block of Oliver Street. There was no one in custody as of the update from police Friday. FWPD also said there is not a threat to the public based on information gathered so far.
