Original Post: MCBEE, S.C. — A Blue Alert has been issued for the suspect accused of shooting a McBee police officer during a traffic stop late Thursday night. The suspect has been identified as 27-year-old Alston Modlin. He was last seen driving a 2023 Toyota Tacoma with South Carolina license plate KRF577. The vehicle has a LEER sticker on the back window. It was last seen traveling west bound around 6am in Florence, South Carolina. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Modlin is asked to call 911 immediately.
